Saint John's Co-Cathedral is an architectural masterpiece in the heart of Valletta, Malta. It was built by the famous Order of St. John during the second half of the 16th century by a master builder in the order that is Girolamo Cassar, who was involved in many constructions in the city as well. The cathedral mesmerizes a visitor with its extremely ornamental baroque interior with poly-chrome marble floors, golden decorations and its intricately painted vault. Don't forget to spot the Caravaggio's "Beheading of the St. John the Baptist" and "St Jerome" in the oratory. It is a feast for the eyes in its every corner, once you are inside you are golden!
