Hiltl is a vegetarian restaurant located in Sihlstrasse-Zurich that was first opened in 1898 by an entrepreneur Ambrosius Hiltl, who was also an enthusiastic traveler. It holds the Guinness world record as the oldest and still open vegetarian restaurant and it is one of the nicest spots for a vegetarian to stop by while strolling around the beautiful city. There is an amazing array of dishes from all around the world. The buffet is based on weight; you simply select among the delicious offers and fill your plate up and pay according to its weight at the cashier. There is also an option of a menu, but one just want to try them all instead.

Whether you are a vegetarian or not, it is a must try in Zurich!
